# TDK CLI > Kubernetes-free microservice development. Run your whole service landscape locally without learning Kubernetes (a 100-service fixture boots on a clean CI runner in about about 8 minutes) — one service.json generates 12-17 files per service. TDK is a manifest-driven CLI built on Tilt and Starlark. Write one `service.json` per service and TDK generates Dockerfiles, Docker Compose, Vite/TypeScript config (React or Vue 3 frontends), Traefik, Postgres, NATS JetStream wiring, Prisma, and other stack-wide artifacts from it — running on plain Docker, no Kubernetes cluster required. The free tier needs no license key and costs nothing, ever. ## Getting Started Fastest binary install (macOS/Linux, picks the right binary for your arch): ``` curl -fsSL https://tdk-landscape.github.io/install.sh | sh tdk doctor tdk project example cd tdk-example tdk up ``` Also installable via npm, npx, pnpm, or bun — see [Quick Start](https://flisk.sh/docs/quickstart/) for every option. ### Native Windows 10/11 (AMD64) Use Docker Desktop in Linux container mode and install [Tilt for Windows](https://docs.tilt.dev/install.html). The native Windows CLI and Windows smoke CI are merged, but the public Windows executable and real Windows 11 acceptance run are still pending. Once the latest release includes `tdk-windows-amd64.exe`, install it from PowerShell with: ``` irm https://tdk-landscape.github.io/install.ps1 | iex ``` Then open a new PowerShell window and run `tdk --version`, `tdk doctor`, `tdk project example`, and `tdk up`. WSL2 Ubuntu works as Linux. See [Windows Quick Start](https://flisk.sh/docs/quickstart/#windows-setup) for port, DNS, and Docker file-sharing guidance. Report the reproduction, the tdk version, and the expected behavior. - Example: [tdk-cli-core#1204](https://github.com/tdk-landscape/tdk-cli-core/issues/1204), `tdk project` output under `.tdk/.tdk-out` is picked up by Vitest in Node/TypeScript projects. ## Agent Skills Portable Agent Skills live in [tdk-skills](https://github.com/tdk-landscape/tdk-skills). Install with `npx skills add tdk-landscape/tdk-skills`. Full machine-readable index: [tdk-skills llms.txt](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/tdk-landscape/tdk-skills/main/llms.txt).
